It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

happen to know the part number for it?

bmw's knobs typically aren't very cheap. i got an all leather weighted one from bimmerbum on ebay. forget what i paid. it's shorter than stock, weighted (for easier throws) and is well made. after 212k miles, my old one had gotten quite worn. here's a pic: http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...ze=big&cat=532

if you know the part number (which can be tricky to find out), it would help.

I think that's the stock shifter for an M Roadster/Coupe.
PN: 25 11 2 229 443

I don't think finding it at a 50% discount is in the cards, but I would try maybe calling one of the mail-order people (Pacific comes to mind).

This is your chance to contribute. What the guys name? Ebay? Are more available?

When you find good deals, it's best to share the wealth!
