Default Added a ti to the collection

Hey guys, just added a 318ti to the mix, though I'd join the forum and see what I can get out and what I can add to it!

I started 15 years ago with an automatic E30 325i. Got rear ended and totaled and replaced it with another E30 325i 5-speed that I still drive and have modified a little bit. I also have a E46 325i 5-speed that is my wife's DD.

I picked up Cosmos Schwarz 318ti 5-speed as a DD. She does need some work however, I got $700 worth of parts coming my way. Also a good cleaning inside and out is in order. Plans are just maintenance to take care of her.

Pics coming.

Congrats on the ti and welcome! Make sure you include the cooling system in that maintenance, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun together

Where in MD are you? I'm a relatively new TI owner as well and am in DC.

When I first joined the board a couple months ago, there was talk about getting some of the DC/MD/VA TIs together before the end of the summer, but time slipped away as it tends to do and nothing happened.

I am planning to attend the Rockville Car Show on Oct. 17 and the NCCBMWCCA Cars n' Coffee/Autocross/Swap Meet on Oct. 25 in Bowie. If you're thinking of attending either, drop me a line!

^^^ welcome fellow new comer!

I cleaned the interior really well. here is a pic of the interior mid cleaning.

i should be finished with this thing and driving it. but when i was doing the brakes i found a nearly seized caliper. on the hunt for another. may end up upgrading to vented rotors and calipers.
