Default My TI on Ebay with 7 series wheels.

Hate to sell it. It's been a great car, but my Lotus Elise is here so it's time to go!
Selling a couple other very unique cars too if you check my other listings.

A little high on the price dont you think? I can't believe you paid 2 or 3 hundred for that short ram intake, I got mine for less than 100 shipped w/ a k&n filter.

I think that is way too high for that year and the mileage. I personally don't think anyone will buy it unless you take off 3-4 grand.

I just picked up a 98' w/ 113k miles for $4500.

So I'd say the price is a little high.

In case anyone was wondering, not the one in my sig, but the replacement for it, since I totalled my silver 330ti last month.

The new one is black, and will get the M3 parts very soon......

"L"oads "O"f "T"rouble "U"sually "S"erious

LOL......I know though that now of course that the Lotus is just a Vauxhall/GM under tha skin it'll probably bo OK? <BG>

Enjoy it before it becomes a collectors car...ie....you have to walk behind it collecting the pieces that fall off!

i think in england the lotus use english motors like rover which arent the best the US lotus elise have a toyota 1.8 motors common used in mr2 with 180 hp and really strong. the only car that I would but in te USA would be a bmw z3m coupe or lotus elise english build the best chassis in my opinion

just in case you guys don't know, Rover has gone bust (closed down). Rovers also used many parts from the BMW parts bin (PDC for one).
'English' do build the best chassis, IIRC a lot of American 'race car' chassis are built in England. Another thing is unfortunatly for the USA, the M series cars you get are restricted in power terms compared to european cars - something to do with emmision laws or some such. A mate of mine has a Z3M, 320 bhp - rather nice.
Lotus cars are renowned for their handling, Mk 1 Elise uses the Rover K series engines, Mk 2 uses Toyota. The Mk 1 would never pass American legislation on pollution. Thats why you would be hard pushed to get a TVR on your side of the pond.

I was under the impression that even new members could attach pix to a post, which is what I had in mind. I apologize for not being more explicit about what I was suggesting.

New members just can't have a gallery though. Right? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've got a job. I've got several, in fact. I also have a sense of humor. My suggestion that you buy me a car was a JOKE !!! Did you not notice the little yellow smiley face that is generally understood to be an indication that the writer is joking?

I realize that it is sometimes difficult to convey humor on a forum like this. If, in the future, you are not sure whether I am joking or not, please ask for confirmation before assuming that I'm trying to be a "Smart A." (For what it's worth, I rarely, if ever intentionally make "Smart A" comments, so it's safer to assume that I'm joking.)

On the outside chance that you were kidding with the "Smart A" and "get a job" cracks, I highly suggest that you consider using some sort of indicator that you're joking. Like perhaps one of these... ;}

I sincerely hope you enjoy your automobile and the time that you spend at this site. I am confident that you will find everyone here (including myself) to be friendly and helpful.

Sincerely,

JMJ

Now... to get back on topic... Hey, SweetDaddyDelicious... when do we get to see a pic of you standing next to the Elise with a big crazy smile on your face?
