Anyone know where I can get a OEM or good aftermarket M-tech front bumper? I also need any other misc parts to complete the swap. I'm ready to call Circle BMW or my local dealer, if I can't get any replies. __________________ 1998 (July) 318ti, 5-spd OEM Armrest Blaupunkt Heidelberg CD50 CD Player/Compact Drive MP3 Player Diamond Audio 5.25" rear speakers Navman ICN 530 GPS BMWALARM.COM (with comfort settings) after market alarm system Magnecor 8.5mm wires M-Z3 Shifter/Momo Knob Burlwood Dashboard Stromung Exhaust X-brace Racing Dynamics Front Strut Bar Carbonio C.A.I. 17" Rial Rims Vader Seats/Heated/Lumbar Support M-tech Steering Wheel/Front Sway Bar/Front & Rear Bumper Depos/w 6500K Angel Eyes/6000K HIDs Clear Corners M3 Mirrors UUC Light Weight Flywheel/M5 Clutch/M3 Clutch Slave E28 3.46 LSD/Mcoupe Cover/E30 Flanges & Halfshafts UUC S.S. I put a deposit on the group buy. The kit doesn't come with the brake ducts. Will I still need to buy OEM ones, or can I use what I have? I'm not sure if the brake ducts for the M bumpers and non-M bumpers are they same or not... I guess check realOEM.com and compare part numbers? -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. TomatoM3Sedan: this is probably a stupid question, but while this is not a genuine OEM part, will it still replace an oem part, as in my OEM M3 bumper needs replaced, and this will fit up no problem? Are the holes etc all all in the same place vs, standard e36 compared to M3. Same coupe and sedan correct 96+ fitment right? I think I may grab one of these depending upon how my insurance rules... EEEEeeee36: These are identical to OE parts in form and function. They will fit any E36 (except Ti) from 91-99. I've had two M3 guys tell me that can't tell the difference between mine and the OE ones they took off their car, and that they loved it! (especially because they saved about $600). Let me know if you have any other questions. | | | 08-10-2006, 01:22 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I just contacted the seller of the group buy, here was his reply to the compatability issue: Quote: I'm sorry; I messed up. I just looked up the part numbers in the ETK, and the bumpers are the same part. The M3 bumper should fit just fine. Both part numbers in the ETK for a standard E36 bumper are 51 11 8 165 143, which means of course that the M3 bumper WILL fit on a Ti. Please accept my sincerest apologies for that misquote. I've have so many people ask me about the rear diffuser and side moldings, which I know for sure don't fit, that I probably stated that in error. I will post in the GB thread that Ti is fine. Thank you very much for bringing that to my attention, and please feel free to post my reply at 318ti.org. | Quote: Originally Posted by chepas i read they don't fit the Ti...can you verify that for me?!
