Totally false. There are some that had the option put on them. But the base models that i have seen never have a sunroof. My bad if i was misinformed. | | | 02-19-2008, 03:06 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | sunroof was an availible option. not a package feature. on an original window sticker i have it said sports package $this much then below it said sunroof $ this much dont really remember the price but it is deff an option nothing to do with package __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 02-19-2008, 03:24 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | my sunroof was installed here in the states. there is a sticker in my glove box from the company that installed it. they are located in Michigan if i remember correctly. hmmmmm __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 02-19-2008, 03:35 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | weird! but cool! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 02-19-2008, 10:54 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget sunroof was an availible option. not a package feature. | I don't think so, I think the sunroof was standard and the "sunroof-delete" was an option, there is a poll on here that says that more people have the sunroof than not | | | 02-20-2008, 02:37 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Well i know that i don't have a sun roof and i thought that base models didn't come with them either. | | | 02-20-2008, 03:07 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Colorado, US Posts: 128 | Mine has option 401 Sliding/Vent Roof That is part of the VIN description. So, I assume it came from the factory that way and the sun roof has an option number. But that does not tell us if it is/is not part of the Base model. If you want to know what the car has, best to get the VIN # and let Mallord run the options. | | | 02-20-2008, 04:59 AM | #13 | Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: SF Bay Area Posts: 33 | c'mon guys, I'm trying to sell my car.
