Default Stall after transmission light

Hey so I'm having so much trouble lately my trans light goes on and off I don't know what to do I cleaned the maf sensor and changed cracked boots but now car has been stalling when in park or stop at a light any ideas what it could be? Would a bad maf do that? Or any other sensors around that area make the car die? Would that be a thermostat problem? Or legit have to replace maf? The car drives fine for a while but it eventually messes up.. Car drives fine otherwise
