Yes they can be swapped. Hopefully your cars wiring is for the M42 motor or you might have some issues. I run a M42 block, M44 head and M47 crank. Runs very good with lots of boost

Hey johnboy! Well i believe the block ended up being a m42 because the crank position sensor isnt in the lower side of the block. Darn it!

So i would just get a m42 harness and a m42 DCM right? then i should be good with the m44 conversion m42?

Any particular reason you used the m44 head? I haven't heard of many people choosing that head over the m42
