Btw, how much did it improve? | It increased the Rev Limit about 350 rpm +, removed the top speed governor, totally eliminated the dead spot mid range. | | | 02-03-2010, 06:44 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: mbsc Posts: 570 | hmmmmmmmmm.. interesting. i know this dead spot midrange and it would be nice to say bye bye to it. more rpm up top is nice too.. gotta free up some cash. is this plug and play? what mods is it programmed for? intake? exhaust? | | | 02-04-2010, 01:27 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | Quote: Originally Posted by projekt EPiK hmmmmmmmmm.. interesting. i know this dead spot midrange and it would be nice to say bye bye to it. more rpm up top is nice too.. gotta free up some cash. is this plug and play? what mods is it programmed for? intake? exhaust? | Yes, and I had a cone intake and exhaust with it, it ran great. A/F ratio was right at 12.0-12.5 under WOT. It's the DME so it's basically unplug your DME and plug this one in. The computer is located behind the battery area under the hood. | | | 02-04-2010, 06:42 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Houston Posts: 57 | umm, what's the prod date on the car it came off of? I look forward to the numbers/pics. Are you parting out the car? or are you for some reason just getting rid of this one random part? I could use the intake too... | | | 02-10-2010, 05:52 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | Quote: Originally Posted by Texasbimmerfest I am definately interested.
