Default 318ti with 325i motor

I have a 95 318ti with 5 speed and just bought a rear ended 95' 325i vert that's automatic but still runs. My question is this...can I run the 325i inline 6 with the 318ti 5 speed transmission? or will I need the 5 speed from the 325i?

Yes, you can use the 5speed in your ti with the M50 motor. I did just that myself and it has been very solid.

WIth that being said "i can use the 318ti 5 speed transmission on the 325i motor" Will the 318 pressure plate and clutch and flywheel work or will i need the 325 stuff? And what driveshaft would work? and will the car throw a code and not run properly?

Plenty of people run the same transmission. I think you need to be concerned about the diff though.

You can use all the 318ti pieces and bolt the motor directly to the trans...

I chose to upgrade the clutch and flywheel, but you don't need to..

I have upgraded the diff twice..
