I will say, I know a guy who bought some no name eBay wheels for his 325is a couple years ago, the car's been through two owners since then and in its most recent Craigslist ad it still has the rims on it, so they obviously haven't cracked or broken. I will say that I do like the looks of the third set that you posted | | | 03-23-2012, 03:34 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Ohio Posts: 18 | | | | 03-23-2012, 03:43 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | those seem to be knock offs of style 135 rims, they look pretty good have you tried searching your local Craigslist? you might be able to find a set of used rims that are made by a reputable company while still staying in your budget | | | 03-23-2012, 03:46 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Ohio Posts: 18 | Yea i've been searching craigslist like a madman lol I havent really found anything that is this clean for a good price most of the ones off craigslist have curb rash or bends. Many styles are $120 per rim with free shipping if you buy four. Also look on Bimmerforums in their used rims section. I got a set of 17 inch DS1's off a '95 M3 for $400. | | | 04-25-2012, 03:10 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Australia Posts: 50 | Sorry for the bump, but does anyone have any experience with buying from Wheelx.com? I'm thinking about buying a set of Style 5's from them. Does anyone know if the free shipping (when buying a set of 4) qualify's for international shipping? | | | 04-25-2012, 04:45 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Quote: Originally Posted by Lachlan Sorry for the bump, but does anyone have any experience with buying from Wheelx.com? Good luck. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
