Hey all - n00b here + TC question.

Hey folks. I recently picked up a 1996 TI Sport to use as my winter car, but I'm wondering if I made a dumb purchase. I love this little BMW, but it doesn't have traction control and I'm wondering if it would be a huge job to install it? Anyone know how to do it or how much I'm looking at to have it done? I drove my 323ci last winter, but the frameless windows were a bi*ch when the ice built up along the door, so I'm storing it this winter. My 323 handled well in winter with TC.

Lots of us drive our ti's in the snow, and mine doesn't have tc. I own the ti, my 325i, and my 2wd Silverado so I can steer with the rear wheels. Good winter tires are a good investment, though.

I don't have traction control either.
I would imagine it would be a PITA to install.
Just get some good winter tires and throw a few hundred pounds in the trunk.
