Open sesame, i know i'm not crazy it def wasn't working yesterday so maybe it's on its way out, but hopefully not... thanks for your response | | | 07-20-2010, 10:05 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I think it's starting to go out, mine does the same thing except it gets stuck in the unlock position | | | 09-06-2010, 04:04 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Battle Ground, WA Posts: 27 | The lock rod from the actuator is adjustable, My sons would get stuck in the locked position and sometimes relock the car. I adjusted the rod and now no problems at all. A little WD40 in there as well will keep it working good | | | 04-06-2011, 04:49 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: California Posts: 6 | Hey, I am having a similar problem. I turn the key and hear the lock moving and the locks for the front doors lock or unlock, but when I push the button, the door does not release. The way the button feels when I push it in is like the door is still locked. Tried lubricating the lock (the parts I can get to) and nothing happened. Does anyone know how to get at the actual lock mechanism and/or get the hatch cover off while the door is stuck shut? Everything I find to get the cover off requires the door to be open to work. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
