I got an Xbrace for the meantime. | | | 10-08-2006, 12:02 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Quote: Originally Posted by L84THSKY You must have seen my bar, I was at that meet. I did two sets already. | | | 10-08-2006, 02:16 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I'm sort of interested, if the price will be much lower after group buy... I really don't have much to spend on mods . | | | 10-12-2006, 03:24 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | Well, I've asked my neighbor who owns a body shop (and is reputable... fixed the subframe breaking on dad's M Roadster and added his own steel bar to reinforce) to fab me a sturdy and cheap Strut bar. He's going to give me a quote. If it's lower than these guys, I'll see if you guys are interested in buying one. I doubt it'd be much money. We'll see when he gets back to me (said it might take him a while). BTW dad's car is WAY stiffer than before. | | | 10-12-2006, 06:01 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Toronto Posts: 148 | This is indeed the original Hartge strut bar. (pic 103 : http://new.photos.yahoo.com/stealth_...03167445988/71) I have it on one of my ti's and it makes topping off the oil a major PITA. But it is 100% functional.
