It really liked that option. | Well, I guess I can say this much I have cuise, heated leather seats with red stiching and red lepard pattern on centers of seats, power roof with a vent option also, m body package, fog lights, 6 disc changer, 5sp and probablly others I forgot or over looked I have only owned car for a few weeks and first German ride! Most people here lilke sport models because of the little extras like suspension, wheels, interior, bodykit etc. Personally I like the looks of a cleanly modded base better and most people swap out the parts I mentioned anyway. As for models, they made Sport, Active, Cali and Base packages. I beleive after a certain year, the Cali-top was an available option for all models. In '95, the sport models didn't come with the M Technik body kit, but they did make a limited number of ClubSports (300 of them)which came in either Hellrot or SchwarzII with red and black millpoint sport interiors, limited slip differentials, M technik suspension, bodykits and mirrors. Oh yeah, the later '98+ 318ti's came with vented front rotors and supposably, the all '99s came with the Sport package and were fitted with a 3 spoke steering wheel. | | | 08-23-2009, 11:12 PM | #179 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Phoenix, AZ Posts: 13 | What are the differences between Base, Active, Sport etc? Maybe someone can help me figure out what it is? Keep in mind, I am not 100% sure of all its specs. Front/passenger airbags, auto trans, 6 disc cd changer, stiff shocks, OBC, no fog lights, sun roof, no tint, biege leatherette, Morea Green metallic paint, no heated seats, OEM security system, .
