It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

So today i recieved this email from the host of bimmerfest 2008. And this is what i just read; its a section of the email:

Early Entry on Saturday
Every year people ask how to be assured they will get a good spot or how to ensure they will be judged for the Battle of the Bimmers. This year, you will be able to enter the showgrounds from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a premium cost of $40.00 per car. This extra cost is ONLY for early entry. If you arrive prior to 9:00 AM you will be required to either leave the showgrounds and surrounding roadways or pay the $40.00 fee.

so i guess if we drive up real early we'll have to either wait to enter at the $20 entry fee or just pay the $40 enty fee for being early...

well i wont. or at least try not to be. besides the caravan wont be going too quick for me.
im gonna be taking a medium sized cooler filled with some food, snacks, and drinks . hugo you can pitch in . i also have those two folding chairs i got in Pomona with Harold and Gino. And ill find some lil speakers for the ipod for some music.
i also have a small generator... should i take that for power? its pretty quiet.
then we have Harold's car with the screen for visual entertainment.

Before Bimmerfest I already
changed oil and fixed Niagara size oil leak

need to....
fix trunk light
find m-tech front molding w/o license plate
fix driver window again
install driver side window guide so it stops falling out
install ash tray that is on back order from Germany
detail inside and out
finish 15 straight work days
buy lots of booze
book hotel for night after in San Luis Obispo
wake up butt earlier May 3rd, drive like hell to keep up with Harold, shell out $$$ to get into show grounds.

I'll be driving up with Gino and Harold. I'm not pumped to pay $40 to get in early. If everyone else is going in early and there are a lot of people then I will.

Jess my beer vendor should come through with the sign
