No big deal... it looks like you just need to replace the piece the grills go into... less than 200 at the dealer. Have a body shop spray it and do the install yourself.

No note or anyting???

Go around looking for paint on every car is what I did when someone hit my car and didn't tell me. I caught them. It was a maintenace guy in a golf cart.

I made them pay for all the damage.

That just sucks

The header panel is very inexpensive. Get the OEM one because it has been E-Coated and will prevent rusting. ECS has this.

tiFreak has a good point. I would take the header panel and your eyelids in at the same time to the body shop. They will have to order minimum amount of material to paint this part so there may be enough left over.

The Header panel is easy to remove. Doesn't take too long.

It amazes me that they still make all those parts! Great for us! I'm having a new windshield installed tomorrow. It's not cracked, but it's not clear. It took a few days, but I had no problem getting the windshield wiper cowl from Ottos' BMW. For such a well made vehicle, they sure did a lousy job with the cowl! My car was always garage kept, and all of the seals and gaskets are in great shape, but the cowl is TOTALLY dry rotted!

BTW, xsalernox, I agree with BimmerBum...Looks like a relatively easy fix. It could have been a heck of a lot worse.

It actually is a really easy fix. I need to replace mine because I've got a tiny bit of rust just below my passenger side headlight. Thankfully that's the only rust anywhere on the entire car. But an imperfection is just that... so I want to have it taken care of.

You're very fortunate that was the only extent of the damage.
