Default Little cover

On the plastic trim on the rear bumper there's a little plastic cover about 2x1.5 inches, that looks as though it can be flicked open with a screwdriver. Can it? What's behind there?

the tow hook is actually in the trunk, along with the other tools. it must be screwed in.

but both front and rear tow points are sort of "last resort" attachment areas. i had to drag my car out of a snowbank, where it was teetering over a hidden rock wall. kinda pulled the rear bumper panel out of alignment with the rest of the car body.

but i got it out of the snowbank, so that's good.
