Yes. Just don't do as Bradestar has done. There are a lot of torx visible there and 2 PHILLIPS screws which are not, at the front corners. I missed those screws and fought it a bit to get it out, in a rush. I thought that it had been silicone and/or possibly glued by the previous owner....that is until I heard the craaack!

I tried JB weld plastics, but you can guess how well that worked out. .ended up having to source a whole new insert. Don't forget those two screws!

Default California Top Trim rubber molding #?

Ouch, thanks for sharing! Instead of zip ties I wonder if hose clamps might hold tighter

Looks like I will be ordering a new outer seal as well. My 96 California had a massive leak on the driver's front corner. Pulled the headliner and found the drain tube completely slipped off. Back on with a clamp. So that no longer leaks. BTW, i used one of these:

Works great, puts equal pressure all the way around the hose.

Still had a leak though, but far less water than before. Did lots of testing involving pouring water from a bottle into different parts of the sunroof drain channel. ZERO leaks, all drains working perfectly. Okay, so let's go out one layer. Poured water into seal between outside of sunroof frame and roof itself. BINGO. Same place as shown in the diagrams earlier in this thread, so new seal it is.

Diagnosing leaks is sometimes easier than we think it is, just go one layer at a time. Until I pull the sunroof frame and replace the seal, a little bit of black silicone is keeping the water out for now.

Got to do this on my 318ti Cali/Open air edition. Leaks like a sieve on both A-Pillars, guessing both drain channels have broken as air lined and no crap came out... : (
