Finally got a S52 to swap, 117k miles, looks nice and original. what do I really need to refresh?

valve cover? seems to be a drip from the front corner and a little over the exhausts, not a huge mess, a coupe of the bolts tightened down some too..

Oil pump nut? Really necessary? Loctite do it?

rear main?

I already got a new water pump, old one had a little play in it but seemed fine otherwise..
I will be ordering a clutch.. probably f1 with light flywheel from ebay..?

not in the near future at least. I saw those S54 throttle bodies on ebay for a good price and couldn't resist.

What gain can be expected really? throttle response and as much top end as I can set it up for?

So I really do need to do all that maintenance? I was hoping 117k was fresh enough I should just toss this baby in..

I was thinking a lower temp thermostat, partially since I will probably do the fan delete.. What's a good temp?

Also like to have some oil temp and pressure guages.. tee'd off the oil pressure sender location the best spot?
