Engine Swap

Hey Guys,

Just picked up an engine out of a wrecked 318ti.. I am just curious about the time. If you have all the parts and are a fairly decent wrench how long does the swap take on one of these?

Love the car, head gasket went car wont start. Priced getting head done etc.. replacement engine cost less. Ready to start, just want to know timetable.

I'll tell you any job time-frame is going to vary widely from person to person.

People told me the oil filter housing gasket should take two hours.

Took me a weekend.

Just trying to set aside some time. 2 days 3 days... you know... I know it can vary. I'm just trying to get a ballpark...
