Default Rims 8.5J x 17H2 ET 44 - Tires to fit?

I have some old Breyton Rims 8.5J x 17H2 ET 44 and looking for recommendations for tires that are close to stock height and widest without rub so no modifications to the car. Running H&R Sport Springs with Bilstein Struts and shocks Any help is greatly appreciated.

With a 3mm spacer you can run 245/40 on all 4 corners.

I guessing the 3mm spacer is for the front to prevent rubbing on the strut?

Exactly. You might be able to get by without them but keep it in mind.

This is for anyone who’s interested how style 237 would on our cars. It’s 18x8 et30 square fitment. Tires are 225/40/18.
