Default Depo Headlights

Been trying to get a reply from an eBay seller about whether these headlights will fit a 318ti:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380432612116...84.m1423.l2649

They haven't responded.......yet. Anyone know if they will fit? Other sources? Not necessarily interested in angel eyes, projectors or HID, just want glass lenses - plastic doesn't hold up well here in south FL.

Those should fit, but if you're looking for a budget replacement with a glass lens, I would look for the DJ Auto headlights over the DEPO's. Just my $.02

The headlights are all the same between coupe/sedan/ti. It's the turn signal corner lenses that are different (ti's share only sedan fitment for those).

Any suggestions about who's good for the DJ Auto headlights and who to avoid?

Ended up buying these:

Now comes the installation, which will be interesting since the "directions" included are a joke.

same one's I've got, installation's actually pretty simple, plug it into the original headlights plugs and then just tap the grey wire into whatever power source you use for the angel eyes

Found this old thread on the board:

Looks like understeer.com might be the ticket.

Regardless.

Would love to see pics and hear feedback on the quality once the install is finished. Looking to buy these for my '96. Thanks Brother!

Decided not to do the installation myself. It's going in for some service this Thursday (local BMW / Mercedes shop), so I'm having them do the installation. I'll post a review / photos.

Happy New Year TI'ers!

So, I picked up a pair of DEPO HID projectors with LED angel eye conversion installed. Need more light for my old eyes, used to my 540's Hellas.

For those of you who have wired in their Angel eyes, where did you wire them into and when are they lit?

The limited instructions note to tie the supply wire into the parking lights. I was thinking to wire in a relay into a 12V ignition on wire to turn the Angels on whenever the ignition is switched on.

Anyone set this up? I can figure it out, but want to cross check with folks who have done this configuration. I have set this up with a Zionsville on my 540's electric fan relay.

Thanks!
