Seriously though, I WANT to get the reps made! Even if I do it myself. No way I'll put an original on my POS, when I park in DC and get hit everyday.

I called some places a couple years ago and they wanted thousands of dollars to make a mold of my ACS spoiler. You could probably make a two piece plaster mold then use foam and fiberglass to make the reps.

UPDATE: i talked to my boss and he said it'd be $2,400.00 for the mold. then the material is sold by the yard and costs around $100.00.
basically, we came to the conclusion that in order to break even it would cost about $450.00 ea to purchase them once they are made. and then we'd have to sell about 60-70 for that to even happen.
but, it'd be super high quality auto-claved carbon fiber...you wouldn't want to paint these spoilers!
sounds totally unrealistic to me tho...so, what do we do next? i'm down to purchase one...or, we could spend a sh!t load of money for the CF knock-offs.

ouch, that's not exactly cheap, I'd still think about it at that price but I don't think we'd be able to get enough people on board for that

Seems like the value of the original copy just went up given the difficulty of manufacturing replicas. Damn I should've charged more!
