Default 5.25 rear speakers installed

let me kno what you think

today i installed 5.25inch speakers.
the first time i installed bigger speakers on my 95 TI i made a adaptors from fiberglass to hold the 5.25 speakers.
this time i wanted to show off my speakers .what i did i cut and hole in the speaker panel.

i first installed the speakers to the stock amp.sound was much better.
then i installed the speakers to a 800w 4ch amp and the sound quality blew me away its loud clear and makes alot of bass for a 5inch speakers.

head unit Alpine 9855
rear speakers are phoenix gold xenon 5.25inch 150rms/300w
oh my 97 black TI

i think by placing the speaker on top on the panel i got better sound quality.

now come the hard part trying to fit xenon 6.5inch speakers in the front.

oh and check out my gallery for more pictures

Thank you so much for this thread. I have been needing some new speakers for my rear because my others are blown. I wasnt quite sure how I was going to fit new speakers in the rear. but now that I see what you did and how it looks. I am going to do the same thing and just get some speakers and put them on top. It will help out alot with the sound system in my car. By the way those are some pretty powerful little 5.25 you have there. I was ver surprised with the magnet size.
