I still REALLY want to lower the car, i want something that will drop it nicely in the front without completly sinking it in the back so I dont need to play with the camber too much. Ive probably got like $500 dollars to work with. Suggestions? | | | 03-17-2006, 02:48 AM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Well if you lower your car you need to get sport springs. Springs are $200-250 depending on which brand and shocks will be atleast $500. I bought bavauto springs which haven't been installed yet but will lower the car 1 1/4 inches all around with bilstein sports which i bought from Philip at Vitesse tuning. See link below. Send a pm to H3 2.1-ti,he might have some shocks left at a good price. Your not gona find both with 500 bucks. http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8299&page=7 __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 03-17-2006, 03:16 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Thousand Oaks, California Posts: 343 | __________________ 1993 325is Hellrot Tribute to: 97 318ti Montreal Blue R.I.P 96 318ti Schwartz II | | | 03-17-2006, 03:51 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | Quote: Originally Posted by drkblu318ti | Nope, I asked. Understeer sells an E36 installation kit with these and some other hardware. ( http://www.understeer.com/onlinestore-suspension.shtml.) Scroll down the page. Get that and the best shocks you can afford. Ideally, I would go with Konis or Bilsteins. That should eat up your $500 and maybe a little more. | | | 04-10-2006, 03:27 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | so to get springs, a car would NEED shocks as well? __________________ [SIZE="1"]Current: Cooler, Intake, Headers, Valves, MAF, Exhaust, HIDS (white/blue), 17" ASA tuner with low-pros, tint, dvd/audio, I stand strong; Life's a slinky. | | | 04-10-2006, 03:37 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Yo dude, I got my H&R sports with Tokico shocks for $535 off eBay. | | | 04-11-2006, 11:51 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Norfolk, Virginia Posts: 289 | Damn bobby, thats a nice price. | | | 04-27-2006, 05:59 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | http://www.understeer.com/onlinestore-suspension.shtml E36 Suspension Install Kit...
