318ti from puerto rico?

I found a pretty clean Ti from a puerto rican who imported it over from puerto rico when he moved here. what i want to know is, was there a difference between a north american 318ti and a puerto rican ti. it has a cloth interior and every Ti i found on craigslist has leather, outside of that, i cant find anything stating a difference.

he does have paperwork and carfax stating that it is not stolen and is a clean title.

cloth was available on US-spec ti's as well

I don't know if there would be any differences, Puerto Rico is a territory of the US, so I'd imagine cars sold in Puerto Rico would be subject to the same DOT regulations
