Default OBD II Port
I have a '99 ti and was messing around under the dash and found what looks like another OBDII port. It's the rectangular one like my '05 330ci. I plugged my peake code checker in but it didn't seem to work.

Anyone know if that port is active?

It's active in US spec models.
Don't know about Canada.
