I didn't work on anything but I did take ezippy up to see Eric and Sze Lin and Baby Marcus. There's a bad squeak in the back I need to figure out and it needs shocks. Hoping I can get them both done without having it cost a ton of money.

Nice job James!

Since, "It all counts", I washed my ti yesterday, which, of course, made it rain. After work today, I plan to take the DS1's off the car, a run for a time a set of 15" steelies, body colored, with BMW's version of "dog dish" hub caps.

Well I got new suspension parts for my Ti, got some lollipop bushings from bimmerbum the other day, Installed those up front with new struts, went to the back to install new shocks and found the rear shock mount went thru, I noticed a slight drop in the rear when I went to buy some stuff I needed and was on my way home, so I took it into the garage and got to work asap....ill post pics up after this...

Wow, that sucks! Nice repair. What is the gauge of the original panel?

Looks great. The E46 seats look right at home!

They are mint e46 sport seats that I found for $200

And that's enough for today...

Headlight aiming. Replaced all 4 shocks a month ago, and the new B8 shocks brought the rear end up to normal.

Also washed it. Lotsa dings and scratches...sigh.

Love of ti

A couple weeks ago I finally replaced the front license plate after it fell off a few months ago.

I had bolted it to the center plastic trim piece on the M front bumper, which I thought was a good idea at the time. It took the trim piece with it when it fell off. To be fair, it did hold up for 25k miles.

Decided I needed to attach it to the bumper itself, not just the trim. Used this solution here with the proper plate holder as designed: http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e36/ext...ate_mount.html
However, word of warning. The screws (51181821830) are not compatible with the body nuts listed (07129925735) unless they just sent me the wrong ones mislabeled. After some testing of fitment, I discovered the body nuts needed screws that are M5 size (the metric size, not the car ) which I was able to find at Home Depot.

Replaced the door handle gaskets, long overdue.

I'm also really considering trying to find a Morea Grün ti and convert it to a sport package (I've never seen one equipped as such stock, at least). A lot to figure out first though before I begin my search.

today i started working on the clubsport.

cleaned up the front end a little bit. Previous owner sprayed it 2 tone.

so i replaced the nose panel and upgraded the headlights. ($60 total from pickn pull)

next in line would be the bumper and removing the nasty home made fogs and replacing it with oem

i already got a new mtech bumper it just need paint.

here's a before and after for now

Aha! So you bought that one
How's the overall shape for the mileage it has? Glad to see it's getting proper attention.

This;

After shearing 3 wheel studs on my trip to Bimmerfest, I was never able to get the last bit of one of the studs out, necessitating replacing the rear hub with a new hub and bearings...

Recently had the injectors fail on Max, so I replaced them with parts from e36ti-m (Thanks John!). Don't you hate the realization that after everything is back together and running, you find this;

After a few head scratching moments, I realized it was for this;

And just for the awwwww factor, here is the newest staff addition at my buddy's shop;

And then I gave all three ti's a bath, as I hadn't washed any of them since May, and they were seriously dirty..

It's a close call getting out of my driveway;

And this shot belongs in the Wheels on Ti's thread;
