hi guys ive seen another m-tec 318ti 1999 model for sale but its been in a accedient in the past and states this on the logbook the guy whoes selling it said its repaired to a high standard is this worth getting 1450 pounds it going for

Stated on the log book this has been damage enough to be classed as a Category C write off, it would then have undergone a VIS test to make sure it was repaired correctly. If you were selling a car would you tell a prospective owner that you had it repaired to a poor quality, so I would ignore the guy's who's selling it statement. What mileage is it on, have you got insurance quotes on it, as some insurers don't like covering repaired write-offs.

ive rang my insrance to tell them what it said on the log book and thay said if it was write of it would of said some were along the lines of category c or so on .so i ask the insurance what it ment and he said acedentil damage such as vandal and an so on it done 90000 miles looks nice and clean just have to see it

I think the guy you spoke to at the insurance company needs to go back do his homework. Used to repair salvage vehicles to earn a living

well i had a look and walk away abs light was on the owner didnt even wash it and he new i was come to view
