Default Hello couple s/c questions

Hello when you supercharge a 318, the disa is eliminated right? how does the car react to not having DISA? do you just not plug it in?(unhook the disa system). Just wondering because im going to build a custom s/c for my 318!

also

Yeah i know im posting a lot, but i have millions of ideas right now!!!

On a m42/44 engine, individual Thottle Body system straped to a Eaton M62 supercharger!?!

ITB like this one http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...hlight=m42+itb + a Eaton M62 blower, same one DASC uses,

wonder what kind of problems i would encounter, so any insight guys?,
thanks

The individual throttle body would work, you would be limited only by the ID of the intake on the supercharger and the air mass meter at that point but the Individual throttle bodies poses a new problem, now the supercharger is upstream of the throttle bodies and no longer in vacuume so your part throttle to boost transition is going to be a little ruff and you wont get the gas mialage you want during by-pass, but you will get more power at the end of the day. As for the dis valve, most systems just leave it pluged in but mounted out of the way, unless your getting software done ,in which case you can stop the computer from looking for the disa valve all together, but for now just plug it in and tie it to your dip stick.
