That is really cool though. Good luck! | | | 03-17-2006, 02:56 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Melbourne, Fl/Athens, AL Posts: 393 | Sweet, a turbo build. The larger the turbo, the more power you can make. however, the larger the turbo, the slower it spools up, meaning that it takes longer to get the power. Just to give you an idea, though, Mosselman's turbo kit kicks the M44 up to around 185 HP and 255 NM torque. I would guess that jon's will be around the same, depending on the size of turbo he uses and other modifications he may make. __________________ -Kenny | | | 03-17-2006, 01:08 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | where is the mosselman turbo sold? The only place I know of is Korman and they wanted $8k for it (that was installed price, I'd do the work myself) | | | 03-19-2006, 10:00 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: boston Posts: 142 | Like Variance said "it depends on the size of the turbo" If I am going to go threw with this, I will be going all the way. Total rebiuld, rods, forged pistons, bore, new cams, intercooler, crank, flywheel, big turbo and dont know what else. hopefully I will get a lot bigger numbers than that... Pray for me hahah jon __________________ HIOP TWINSCREW w/aftercooler water to air, 3.73 lsd, ported headdone, performence valve springs w/titanium retainersinstalled..nitrous kitinstalled fun fun X brace installed5th injector w/ piggyback controler, high flow cat | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
