Im missing a grill (flew off somewhere, lol) and im getting my hamann spoiler painted once i get my rieger lip, as well as installing the clutch kit and ltw flywheel... and the tranny is super eff'd so thats why its just driveway pics, and weather permitting, ill do a nice full on photo session here soon once i get my lip/spoiler/grills and tranny all buttoned up good again but i just had to show off the style 5's - shes definitly in need of a fender roll! I had a couple passengers last night and today i pulled a handful of burnt tire out of my fenders lol this pic isn't so clear, but check out the camber now and fyi if your curious, im either putting the 318 back on, or taking the TI off.. im not entirely sure yet... i don't know why i ever though that was cool EDIT : new pics __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 05-21-2007, 06:24 AM | #2 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Rio, BRAZIL Posts: 73 | are those 17"? what offset and what tire setup? IIRC, Style 5's have an ET20 offset. __________________ -Kenny | | | 05-21-2007, 06:51 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Rio, BRAZIL Posts: 73 | btw forgot to say that they are beautiful congrats.. and I like them even better without the center caps.. have you tried it? | | | 05-21-2007, 06:52 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | those look awesome man, i love em | | | 05-21-2007, 07:09 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Lake Oswego, OR Posts: 136 | sex __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by halobeamin it's the way to go.. Uaza, they are 17x8's off an E39, they are made by BBS and look almost identical to BBS RM wheels...the offset is 20mm but you also need 74.1/72.56 hubcentric rings to make E39 wheels work on the E36... I found these on Ebay and got a really good deal. Im really glad i went with these wheels, pushing the tires out another 20mm made a HUGE impact on the handling, it truly feels like a go cart now. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 05-21-2007, 07:21 PM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 28 | Very nice. December last year I bought styling 5 for my E36. The ones I got have the normal E36-offset. But I got MK-motorsport wheels now. So I'll put the styling 5 back on sale. | | | 05-21-2007, 07:32 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: PA Posts: 89 | those look amazing, ive been wanting to pick up style 5's up for myself but havent been able to find any. | | | 05-21-2007, 07:45 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Rio, BRAZIL Posts: 73 | Quote: Originally Posted by rwd_king thanks guys! i can't wait til i can my tranny fixed and all the other goodies so i can go out and get some scenic shots... I will take a pic of one of the without clearcoat so you can see how freakin awesome they are Mallard... they are 225/45/17's.... lol, the roads around here are unreal though, Id bang the crap out of my rims without this much tire...I had those tires on my 17x8 beyerns and they worked well.. but with these wheels and this offset, im thinking my next set will be 225/40's .. maybe even go 215's if i can't roll my fenders to much since im going to try it myself. Uaza, the tire rub is extremely minor when im all by myself, i really gotta bang on it to rub when im alone... but i had no choice but to load 3 people in it with me the other night... and man, i cried the WHOLE way home.. you should have seen the amount of tire i pulled out of the groove in the rear fender where it folds over.. almost unbelievable. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
