very nice interior! and btw, your headlights are probably Hella, hb4 and hb5 lamps.. at least mine are..and looks exactly like yours..

it's very funny to see all the different ti's around the world.. mine is 1998 euro market too, but my steering wheel is a different 3 spoke version and I have no side airbags and here in brazil they were only available on the 323ti..

Side Impacts were available but I believe only on the 98's (and 99's) but it was an option and it was the last production model, so there aren't very many IIRC

Just remembered to check, and you're right, I do have the Hella hb4 and hb5. Is yours the airbagless 3-spoke wheel? I see lots of E36s in Europe with those.

I thought for a bit about getting a 323ti, but gas prices coupled with the fact that insurance and road tax here are based on engine displacement and power meant M44. Also, even though the 316ti, 318ti, 318tds and 323ti were offered here, 75% of cars I see are 318ti's and probably 24.9% of the rest are 316ti's.

I just bought mine last Thursday. I'm gettin tags/registration tomorrow. Damn am I excited. Grats on the buy
