There 2 problems:

1. The car does not start. The engine spins but does not start. No spark, no fuel.
-maybe a sensor is broken in the time of engine transportation and placing in the engine bay of the car
-or a problem with some relays or electronics..

2. The diagnostic tool does not work.
I said before, when I connect the GT1 interface, the clusters appear like the ignition would be on. *but without the key in the ignition!!!!!!!!!
-maybe a relay is broken or something on the wires ....

I really do not know what is wrong.

hm, sound like some wireing goes the wrong way or a faulty relay..
Id check if the connectors on the diagnostic connector is right these may be different on EWSII

Both the card and the engine generation is EWSII. 1997 both.
A faulty relay is my guess too.
The connectors are ok, I checked them.
But what relay...? Are there any relays or fuses other place than the engine bay, near the X20 connector?
