I noticed there was another E36 behind me, in the left lane. I was in the middle, and soon noticed that it was another 318ti. I tried to notion to her that her car was nice, but no response. Probably thought that I was hitting on her or something. Ok so heres my plan. For now on, whenever I see another 318ti on the road, I am going to scream "318ti.org!" out my window. Should be interesting to see if others will actually visit the site to due a scream from a stranger. So that's my plan, I encourage you all to do the same. Yes, you most likely will feel dumb while yelling out your window to another car, but i think it should be funny. Who knows, maybe it'll unite the ti community a bit better. heh. -chris __________________ 18'' Ace Wheels • Pirelli P7000 SS Tires • Bosal Brospeed Exhaust • B&M Short Throw Kit • H&R Sport Springs • Euro Clears • cat delete • Rogue Engineering Clutch Stop • Modded Airbox • blacked out kidney grilles • Suede Headliner/A Pillars S52 CONVERSION UNDERWAY | | | 11-10-2004, 04:51 AM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | If that works that will be great, since i moved to rhode island haven't seen one ti,but when i lived in boston i saw like 5 diff ones. A girl io worked with had one,she was the hottest girl in my dept. After a year or so i went up to her and asked her if that was her ti and thats how we became friends. I would've never spoken to her if it wasn't for that. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 11-10-2004, 07:23 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Seattle Posts: 140 | I think we need to get some 318ti.org window stickers. I won't put anything on the paint of the car, but a nice 318ti.org in white on my back side window would be cool. =) | | | 11-10-2004, 01:28 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Ohio Posts: 183 | Swits: Cool idea...anyone interested? Yea, I'm too...I am Graphic Designer here in San Antonio, if you need my help or ideas. Maybe something similar to the header on the homepage, on a clear back ground or white as Neko mentioned. I have spotted several Ti's around town and would like to inform them in some way of the website. __________________ '96 Active, Boston Green Future mods:Front lipspoiler, cold air intake by Otto Racing, Hartge Rear Wing spoiler, Smoke Grey Birdseye maple wood trim kit. | | | 11-10-2004, 07:49 PM | #13 | I miss my Ti....... :( Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 828 | Logo Quote: Originally Posted by Dusty Yea, I'm too...I am Graphic Designer here in San Antonio, if you need my help or ideas. If is die cut a clear black ground with a silver or brushed aluminum "318 ti" and then a blue ".org" just like the website. Or the same color pattern with vinyl. -Chad | | | 11-10-2004, 07:54 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I loose static decals all the time. If you are going to do decals consider inside and out. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-10-2004, 08:03 PM | #15 | Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: PA Posts: 78 | A die-cut logo sticker would be the cleanest looking approach to the sticker but will be a little more expensive because you need to pay for the die to cut out the letters. With a die-cut sticker there won't be any background just the letters. I have a lot of experience creating channels for die-cuts. If you are interested I can layout all of the files for the printer if this is the way everyone wants to move forward with this. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
