Default S50 track engine for sale

I decided to sell the engine out of my Ti and build something different (still debating the options).

This is a 95 S50 M3 engine approx. 85,000 miles on it. The head was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago by VAC Motorsports, their Stage I rebuild with double valve springs added. Thus it has a new head gasket, water pump, oil pump nut has been secured.

The new Bimmerworld Sunbelt cam,new lifters and software were added about 1000 miles ago. It also has a 3.5 Euro MAF, Conforti CAI, Jet Hot Headers, Oil Cooler, VAC Oil Pan baffle, Uretane motor mounts, 5 speed transmission with the Bimmerworld Ultralite Flywheel and Clutch (very cool clutch). Rogue SS, UUC tranny enforcers.

It doesn't have A/C or Power steering (they can be added back on but I don't have the accessories any more).

The engine makes 245rwhp and revs like crazy to its 7200 rpm redline.

I'll be getting a leak down and compression test before selling, so I can provide those numbers.

$5000 including shipping within the U.S. If interested send me a PM and I can provide more information.

I think it's about a 13 lb combo, and yes it rattles like hell - but boy does the engine wind up in a hurry!

My friend who built the car posted an add on our local board that I wanted to repost as it provides a little more detail.

The setup includes the radiator all the way back to the driveshaft, so it is a complete drop in solution (except I still don't think it's a good clutch/flywheel for the street and would be willing to sell that separate).

He's asking more money than I originally posted since it includes a few more parts, but I'm willing to negotiate

I'm going to post it on BF and ebay but thought I'd update the post here first if someone was looking for an ideal swap.

1995 OBD I high performance US M3 based powertrain, complete from radiator to driveline including full engine harness and ECU.

Currently in car, in the Seattle metro area. Can be seen running, driven, tested and dyno run at buyers expense. All mods less than one year old. 246 hp/224tq at the wheels. Dyno sheets and complete documentation. Selling because I'm converting to a different configuration. Regional delivery available nego. Shipping available via truck at buyers expense.

-1995 3 liter bottom end, stock crank/rods/pistons. Oil pan has VAC baffle
installed. Includes engine supports and Ireland Engineering poly mounts.

-Race quality rebuilt head by VAC with full radius seat grind, unshrouding
and flow testing using Serdi equipment, blueprinted and weight matched
components including new valves and valve guides, high performance dual
valve springs, new hydraulic lifters and just released Bimmerworld Sunbelt
cams.

throttle body with new cable assembly and 24lb/hr injectors.

-Complete engine wiring harness and ECU with custom software.

-Equal length tubular jet hot coated header with EGT probe. O.E. 1995 BMW
tandem secondary pipes with modified and optimized collector, transitioning
to a 3 inch high-flow catalyst. 3 inch mandrel bent custom exhaust with
a resonator and 3 chamber Flowmaster muffler, configured to the 318ti
chassis.

-Euro oil filter housing. JTD adapter for aftermarket oil pressure and
temperature gauges along with instrument cluster sender. Turner Motorsports
oil cooler outlet 10AN adapters, Aeroquip type fittings and hose with firebraid
heat sleeve, large 8 x 11 plate type oil cooler.

-Fluidyne all aluminum high capacity radiator with BMW O.E. fan housing,
hoses and expansion tank. SPAL 16 inch electrical pull type fan.

-Evosport billet underdrive alternator pulley. *note* serpentine belt as
currently configured omits PS and A/C. It can easily be returned to stock
configuration.

-Bimmerworld ultralight 8.5 inch two disc clutch, aluminum flywheel, package
weighs 18 lbs. total. New pilot bearing.

-95 M3 5 speed transmission with stock gears. Includes clutch T/O bearing,
slave cylinder and UUC braided clutch line. Includes transmission
crossmember with UUC poly mounts. Rogue Octane short shift assembly
complete. New guibo, M3 complete driveline included.

Price $6800 complete nego. Separate parts not available at this time.
