Okay- Finally got an M3. It's the Sedan model black on black with spoiler. Picked it up last weekend and drove nonstop by myself 1400 miles back to Atlanta w/no issues.
My wife, for now, seems to be okay with keeping the TI as well.
No complaints there, because I love the TI. The M3 is great, and of course it gets a lot of glances as fewer and fewer e36 m3s are on the roads. Regardless, I still love jumping in the TI and hitting corners like there's no tomorrow.
In terms of the M3, I'll post pics soon, but it wasn't something I was planning on buying. I just happened across it and couldn't pass it up for the price. I got the whole car for not much more than what the engine and tranny would cost. Shocks were already replaced with Bilsteins (expensive on the m3), CAI, Xenon headlights, luxury package, almost new tires, new tie rods, new differential, etc... No body damage or accidents. It has some of the usual chips and scratches for it's age (1997) which I prefer to see in a used car. Insurance though is twice as much as the TI of course.
