(intake exhaust systems engine tune ups w.e!) thanx | | | 04-14-2009, 01:15 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: new york Posts: 511 | These engines really don't put out much more power without forced induction, as bmw engineers are in no way stupid. They made these engines to put out the most horse and torque that they could. Now as to intake and exhaust, you can change them but it would increase the volume of sound and change the tone from the exhaust, making it sound like a ricer or something different. Stromung and supersprint are good exhausts but expect to spend around 400-600$ intakes are cheap but again always remember its not going to add much horse. And as to engine components there are no readily available exhaust manifolds, or intake manifolds on the market as to my knowledge, and once again the ones bmw engineered were made correctly so it wouldn't be worth it to buy cheap stuff, and put it on our nice cars. BMW and swap the engines over these cars really shine in handling, I'd spend money on the suspension and brakes first | | | 04-15-2009, 06:14 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Welcome to the site. My first suggestion, read and lurk on the site. All the information you could need is here, and you don't want to ask the same question that's been asked 20 times before, right? Also, how about using proper words? Your posts are very hard to read, though I was able to understand them. Thanks for using punctuation though, that's more than some do __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R. Do routine maintenence. Fluids, plugs, hoses, etc. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R.
