Default Lime Rock Hosts American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix

I just got today's AAA Connecticut Traveler. I remember watching another race on the Speed Channel at Lime Rock and I was like, damn I want to go and watch a Race there. Well July 6 and July 7, they've having Prototype, GT1 and GT2 races. www.limerock.com for more information I'm sure.

AAA says up to 33% off gate prices when you purchase a ticket at AAA Motor Club district office.

Friday 7/06 - AAA Adv. Purchase Price $22, Lime Rock Gate Price $35, Show your card @ the Gate Price $30
Saturday 7/07 - AAA Adv. Purchase Price $47, Lime Rock Gate Price $65, Show your card @ the Gate Price $60
Weekend (I'm assuming this is both days) - AAA Adv. Purchase Price $60 (not available from Lime Rock or Show your card @ the Gate)

Anyone going? :P

Those who aren't AAA members can purchase before the event @ Lime Rock's site at a discount. http://www.limerock.com/store/cart.p...oduct_list&c=3

EDIT: I found out what the different days are, the 6th is Qualifying, the 7th is Race Day, I'm not sure of any other side events happening at the same time.

American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix

6-7 July 2007

The fastest fliers through Big Bend all season are unquestionably the world-class machines that compete in the American LeMans Series. The American Le Mans New England Grand Prix event is the first Stateside race for most of the teams returning from their triumph or defeat at the famed 24 Hours of LeMans.

The all-conquering Audi R8 retired as a winner at Lime Rock Park in 2006, but has been replaced by the eerily quiet but no less dominant TDI Diesel R10 in the leading LMP1 class. The lighter LMP2 class is quickly developing into a manufacturers battleground, with Acura jumping in to fight Mazda and Penske’s Porsches. Not all the action is with the prototypes, as the GT1 and GT2 classes are more than just moving chicanes for the prototypes, with factory Porsche hotshoes battling Corvettes and Aston Martins amongst the Ferrari F430’s and BMWs.

6 July - Practice and Qualifying
7 July - Race
