Question putting M42 Head on M44 block retaining obd2

so i have been having terrible luck finding a good M44 head i have pulled 4 so far and all of them were cracked around the spark plug holes... so i tried pulling an m42 head and it looked fine first one i pulled, i dont plan on tracking this car i know m42s have forged internals etc. but this is more out of just getting my car running.

so how would i go about running cooling and sensors etc.?

also first post Woot! just bought a ti after owning an e30 for 3yrs the Ti will be my wifes Daily when my e30 is finished. im active on r3vlimited, same user name.

Welcome to the org and I do not really know if anyone here has swapped heads. Hopefully someone jumps in here and gives you an educated answer.
