Default Help, this guide has broken on my window!

Hi guys,

I have had this problem for a while and hopefully can get some help on here. A guide has rusted and snapped on the inside of my driver's door and pushes the window off alignment and snaps the plastic clips.

Attached to this post is the picture of the guide that had snapped off and was lying at the bottom of the door. I think I have found the part on the OEM catalogue but I'm not sure. Does anyone know how to attach it back to the inside of the door so the window moves smoothly?

Thanks

Nick

That's it. I replaced mine. There is a plug covering the access hole in the door.
Be sure it is lined up correctly towards the top when installing.

The top flared end slips into and behind the upper window channel gasket part. The bottom secures to a mounting location with a screw from outside the inner door skin. There's a oval plug and a screw hole inside that oval hole. There should be a rubber window liner inside that steel u-channel as well. It needs that rubber insert liner to center and guide the glass.
