I have one rule while driving. I do not need to know what the guy behind me is doing, reason if he hits you and you see it coming you will brace yourself and have more injuries to your body then if you do not see it coming. So I removed my rear view mirror and only keep the side mirrors. (I always turn my head to look if the side are open.) The side mirrors or only to scope for CHP trying to sneak up behind me.

Outie,
Mothman

Thumbs up

1996 328ti and aceyx have hit it on the head in regards to doing this only at the track. You will never know how much you really don't know until you do this. You owe it to yourself and everyone around you. You have the nerve to drive fast, do you have the nerve to find out how much you don't know? Anyone who has been on the track will tell you the same thing.

Every post that this kid makes is retarded.

Driving an uninsured vehicle, going 110 on public streets with traffic, saying that the track takes away adrenaline.

Just do us all a favor and think before you post

You didn't even have to search I did it for you. Look at these events. They aren't expensive. There is still the adrenaline trust me on this one..along with every other person who has done real racing. There is also a whole new factor..turning.

The biggest problem I had with this thread was him making everyone else on that road that night to be the bad guy, and he was the good guy going only 110mph.

Ugh...

I'm gonna have to agree with chepas... this kid seems to be a bit of a know it all. Listen... if you don't want us calling you an idiot, don't post. Every word I've seen you type so far has made me slightly dumber. You need to learn a bit more about cars, about driving, and most importantly, about life. Don't get me wrong, I'm 20... still considered young and stupid... but I HAVE grown up quite a bit in the past years. I know this comment will make others on this board look down on me... but maybe next time when you're barreling down the highway at 110, you won't see the car ahead of you until it's too late.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

ok all of you guys need to calm down. Its not like everyday im driving 110. I DO!! all my stops, i look BOTH ways, i always use my turn signals, i always stop at every stop sign and wait 3-5 seconds. Jeez, i havent raced in months and i raced this time and yea i messed up. People mess up though get over yourselfs. DO NOT TELL ME, that a ricer goes up to and starts revving you or making eye contact and dont tell me in your head you think about racing, maybe you dont do it, but in your head your like damn i want to, but then you dont. In my case, im like no, but when im straight getting callled out, i go for it. YES it is on the street but im doing it safely. I look to see how much traffic there is ahead or not. So yea, wow i messed up this 1 time cuz all those other times ive raced, ive never harmed anyone or did anything wrong. So i didnt know that if a teacher is late for 1 time it makes him a bad teacher and could never teach cuz he was late just that 1 time. Like i said, call me stupid, but i dont think im over the racing scene until i have a kid or a wife. BTW, i never race EVER with anyone with me. I always do it when im by myself in the car. Cuz if i kill myself, then i kill myself F*ck it, but i wont take my friends with me.

but it's ok to kill the innocent people around you on the road...even if they "come out of nowhere." You are truely an idoit and i hope your license gets taken away as soon as possible, before you hurt someone. Oh ya, and we may think about racing the idoits who rev at us, but the fact that we don't is what makes us bigger people. We don't need to go faster than someone to know that we are better drivers, or have better cars.
