i don't know but it is just enough for you to feel a slight shimmy b/w 55 and 65 mph. any wheel refinishing/repair shop will be able to do it. why have i not done it you ask? because i have been too lazy to take the wheel in and i spent all my money on my motor swap. close up pics will be put up when i get off of work. i looked on the FedEx website and shipping from Oklahoma City is about $85 to Seattle so figure if you are closer to Oklahoma than Seattle than it will be cheaper. pm me with any questions! ill take money order/cashier's check/paypal. pics for full size pictures visit my gallery: http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showgal...500&ppuser=617 __________________ | | | 07-10-2006, 06:02 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Tacompton, WA Posts: 309 | Quote: Originally Posted by JedzE36/5 ok they are 18x8 Mille Miglia MM11-2 rims. you can see them on my sig. anyways i want an 18 with a lip so i am going to sell these. i will sell all 4 of these rims for $300 (NO TIRES) + shipping cost. they are in good condition with only a small amount of curb rash from normal wear (the curb rash was on the wheels when i bought them). i am not in any rush since i will need to buy new rims, but if you want them, i will sell them to you. anyways i bought these for $400 last year. i really like the look of them but i have decided that i want a 5 spoke wheel with a lip. here is the catch: one wheel is bent and will need to be straightened out. as to how bent? Only one wheel is bent though. Right now the wheel is on the driver's side rear. the shimmy was barely noticeable with new tires on but as the tread decreased, the shimmy increased. i didnt mind the shimmy but my gf didnt like it (nor does she like the exhaust, suspension, etc.). i think if you bought them i would say put some tires on it, drive it around and then see what you think. __________________ | | | 07-10-2006, 09:56 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | these fit on our cars no prob? | | | 07-10-2006, 10:13 PM | #8 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by nusstroy these fit on our cars no prob? | Yes.. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 07-10-2006, 11:13 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler Yes.. | what he said. __________________ | | | 07-11-2006, 07:16 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | sale pending. waiting for money. will let you all who pmed me if it falls through. __________________ | | | 07-13-2006, 09:19 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Fort Worth Posts: 14 | hey, im also wanting a 17" or 18" rim with a lip too.... could you steer me in the right direction to where i can find some good looking rims? preferably black with a polished lip | | | 07-13-2006, 02:11 PM | #12 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by keefer hey, im also wanting a 17" or 18" rim with a lip too.... could you steer me in the right direction to where i can find some good looking rims? preferably black with a polished lip | How about Google or even E-bay? (It would have been a good idea to start a new thread in the "want to buy" section rather than clutter an unrelated one. ) __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
