Default My car is slow...

Ok so It takes me like 10 seconds (not too accurate) to get to 60mpH, this seems slow... My bro in his, 97 cavalier can get going faster then me. Other then getting a Dian chip ( I will be getting in a few next month) what should make my car faster off the line?

outside of intake and exhaust ... if you dont want to go radical but you want your car to launch ... suspension set up and tire seletion is key.... its all about how you set up the weight distrobution

OWWW, OK SO my car is lowered with some blue rings, I have stock 16inch rims (prob not good for startingoff) with 32psi all around.

Ya I am going to get the Dian chip next month sometime after I get lights, tinted windows and maybe coolair intake.

Intake and exhaust will do next to nothing on these cars.
A lightweight flywheel will make a decent drop in your times though.

You bought the wrong car if your looking to squeeze HP out of the engine with performance parts.

318tis are not drag cars. Go to an autocross or driving school with your brother, and he won't be able to keep up with you.

If you want better accelleration from your ti, weight reduction first, 'fogg' the airbox, and that's about it unless you go with a big bore throttle body and Schrick Camshafts, but even then you aren't getting much for your money.

If you really want to go faster (in a straight line) and have a BMW, sell the ti and get an E30 or E36 325. But it won't be as cool.

Is this a serious question?

How about order it from their website?

You were doing fine until you said E36 325. the 325 isn't much faster at all that the ti, especially not when comparing stock to stock.

a stock 325 will smoke a 318 everyday of the week. when stock to stock there is a pretty big difference. the 318 is slow.

I've run several stock and modified 325s and never had one get any farther than his rear bumper even with my front.
