It was a joke, lol, sorry I couldn't resist. Don't waste your time with the turbonator.

There are no miracle parts that give you great mpg, it's driving habits all the way. Well, you could swap in different gears, man I would love to have an overdrive gear, or a lower diff, 2.93, etc.

You gotta have a hood scoop so that the turbonator can run more efficiently. But if you absolutely want to get extreamly good gas mileage, you have to purchase one of these. It can provide 1.3 jigowatts, which is enough to power your car for 635 days. I just hope you're are good friends with plutonium providers, because plutonium has been known to put a dent in anyone's budget.

Reducing a couple hundred lbs will not make a significant improvement. Your best bets are max sidewall psi and driving style.

If you are truly interested in getting the most mpg you can I would visit www.gassavers.org and www.ecomodder.com - their aerodynamics forum is especially good.

I've been paying close attention and learning which hills and at which velocities I can stick it in neutral and drift for a bit. "Okay, if I start this slight but long decline at 80, I'll end it at 70" out of gear. This type of thing helps a bit.

to the OP, what's the mileage on your car? if you have more than 100k it's a good idea to replace your muffler bearings, mine were bad when I bought my car and replacing them gave me a 5 mpg gain according to my OBC

I think I came in too late to join in the smartass answers

EDIT: lol, he asked questions about changing the air filter on his Mustang in a 300C forum and his profile says he owns a "2002 Corvette 400C"

Yeah, OP is kinda creeping me out now that I see all these weirdo posts on other forums. I wonder what the next thread will be about...

i dont know much about saving money when it comes to gas MPG.. i only get like 28 - 30 MPG city in my car.. but my dad can get 45 mpg in his 1994 Ford Aspire, which has a smaller motor, and more power till it hits about 40 MPH.. (he can peel rubber from first gear to 3rd gear, but the car weighs about 1500 pounds..
anyway.. i know an alternative to toll both prices tho =]

first thing i did when i bought it
difference was like night and day
i went from filling up twice a week down to once.

what you gotta do is take off the stickers you put on your car to max hp... because we all know the more hp you have less mpg you get... so take off all those koni stickers or infiniti stickers that you use for hp

then... you should get some stickers that makes mpg and put those on your car... probably going to have to import them from japan... nothing beats jdm stickers on a bmw...

(on a much more serious note... driving more steadily at a slower speed usually helps increase mpg)
