Been working on my 1995 TI and have run across a problem so far that I have yet get a solution from even from mechanics. The driver side door lock will only open with the key. Once the lock is open the handle works on both sides, but the handle will not bring the lock up from the inside, the keyless entry has the same effect. Only the key works. The one thing I have noticed is that it only malfuntions in the morning when I first go to get in the car. The rod that connects the mechanisms runs through a foam pad to prevent rattling, it unfortunately jams the mechanism if it gets real dirty or oily...
Thats what I found on my 95 anyway...

i have the same problem, but i open my door, with a key, nothign happens, but i turn on the car, the passinger door doesnt open from the inside, and the windows dont go down, and if i go around the passinger side, the whole car opens up.. grrrr.... frustrating, anyone knows how to change a actuator?? thankss.. __________________

I did mine a couple of years ago. It is a PITA...
