I figure my car has the same engine, so it should sound the same. I thought you guys might want to see it also. I drove at 2000 rpm so he could hear the drone, which is made worse by the hatchback acoustics. I ususally keep it above 2000. http://bimmerboard.com/members/clex2...st%20clips.wmv __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 08-12-2005, 04:23 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Nice vid and exhaust!!! | | | 08-12-2005, 04:29 AM | #3 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Nice video.. Try to get a dyno sheet or 1/4 mile run. How did you get the 3.46 LSD (M6) installed? What was your process/ | | | 08-12-2005, 02:04 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Walnut Creek, CA Posts: 642 | Dyno sheet is in my photo gallery, pre and post cams. I know there are cars out there with similar mods claiming 250+ rwhp. My cams were installed by Turner Motorsports and they did the dyno pre and post cams. In their Dynapack log, my car's power is on par with other similar cars/mods. I really was hoping to get 300 crank hp, but I doubt I'll get there unless I go FI. As far as the M6 diff, I bought the car that way. There were 2 diffs on the e24 (6-series), a large and small. I have the lager, latter production diff. I think a lot of BMW's diffs have the same mounting points. In fact, I even have a M Coupe finned diff cover mounted the the M6 diff, so the case must have a similar shape. Considering the M6 had 250+ hp (more in Euro trim), and that the e24 was pretty heavy, it makes a strong diff for high HP, light weight cars like out ti's. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 08-13-2005, 12:40 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 484 | I notice you have a upper strut brace. what where and how much? | | | 08-13-2005, 01:41 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Walnut Creek, CA Posts: 642 | The strut brace is a factory BMW part, from the e36 Lightweight/Euro e36 GT. It is a fairly rare part, and last time I checked, they were selling for $6-700. Not that they have anything intrinsic about them that would command such a price, just that they are rare and getting more so. Luckily, it was on the car when I bought it. If you are interested, try Gregg Smith at KOPerformance.com. He can get you these hard to find M3 LTW parts. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 09-14-2005, 05:17 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 411 | sounds similar to my car.
