Default '94 316i M50B25 swap

Hi!

Quite new to these boards, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. I've searched quite a bit here and on google as well, but I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for. Feel free to point me to other threads, if that is easier

I have this 94 316i with an M43B16 engine, which is quite slow. I want more power and specifically, I'm looking at an M50B25 non-VANOS engine and also upgrading the rear brakes to discs instead of drums.

Now, on to the questions..

If I buy the engine with tranny, does it link up with the stock propshaft directly, or will I need to source one from an 323ti or something else?

Does the M50B25 non-VANOS use any EWS?

Are there any problems in using the stock diff with this setup?

Would it be advisable to upgrade the front brakes to something else as well? Is there any difference between the 316i and 318ti in that department?

Thanks in advance
