We can get to work faster = more work = being more productive = better economy and we make more money 2. Less traffic jams = gas savings = less pollution = less dead brain cells = being more productive --> see ^^ after productive 3. We are happier since we can go for a blast of a drive when we are mad = less stress = being more productive ---> see ^^ after productive 4. we can get some take out faster = happier wife/GF = less stress = being more productive ---> see ^^ after productive See they all tie in facilitating a better economy, if we can only drive the BMW's a lil faster legally. | | | 10-02-2008, 05:19 AM | #78 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Quote: Originally Posted by Turboready I wanna vote for anyone who would raise the speed limit a lil bit 1. Just to let you know Obama doesn't have the full support by African Americans. Some people believe he isn't black enough. Just like some republicans don't agree with everything McCain wants. You may not be racist but you sure are ignorant. I think the color of Obama's skin is going to make some people not vote for him, i don't think it's the other way around. If people vote for him it's because of what he stands for. Anyone going to watch the VP's debate tomorrow by any chance? | | | 10-02-2008, 05:25 AM | #80 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Quote: Originally Posted by Turboready I wanna vote for anyone who would raise the speed limit a lil bit 1. Or the ones that think it's okay to drive slow on the fast lane. Also it would lead to more accidents due to the people that think it's okay to text and drive. So it's not a perfect plan, though i would like to drive faster. | | | 10-02-2008, 05:40 AM | #81 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Quote: Originally Posted by Maverix Would it sway your decision if I told you that Cindy McCain does a lot of drifting? | Damn, Forget John, lets vote Cindy instead. Man I know how important it is during elections for everyone, but of all these politicians running for office, how many of them take the people who voted them in to heart? I can agree 1000000% for Bush going after the "evil doers" but OMG, did he not see how much the "follow up wars" were hurting Uncle Sams pocket neglecting much needed funds in the backyard. I feel sorry for all the people who worked so hard to purchase and build homes being proud Americans and then have to loose it all to a collapsing economy. Not giving my moth liberty here, but I am almost certain the cost of the war had a direct impact regarding the downturn of the economy. I am not in any way politically oriented just my opinion which can be 1000000% wrong. IMHO voting is like a slot machine, a huge gamble, you see the pic of the red cherries in a line, vote and hope the cherries line up, what are the chances they will? | | | 10-02-2008, 05:42 AM | #82 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Quote: Originally Posted by elchicano318ti So it's not a perfect plan, though i would like to drive faster. | Sh!t should have known better, I brainstormed this plan with younger Mr. Bush Thanks, have to brainstorm elsewhere. | | | 10-02-2008, 05:54 AM | #83 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by L84THSKY I'm a VET, but like Obama said." I was part of team of mechanics cooks and fuel handlers in an aviation squadron that saved 56 lives in one incident. The situation in Iraq is much improved. We do not lead assaults anymore. we augment the Iraqi Army (IA). I believe its time to pull out of Iraq. We can't carry this load for much longer. this is coming from Angel not SSG Garay BTW. | I was there as well Angel. I served for over 10 years and fought in three wars. Unfortunately, this last one left a bad taste in my mouth. I actually got out due to political disagreements and conflicts with my personal morals. FWIW despite my opposition with whats going on right now, I'd just like to say thank you for everything you've done for ME and OUR country. Seriously though, as L84THSKY said, McCain deserves our respect, not our votes. I'm 100% for Obama. Personally I think Palin is an absolute joke. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-02-2008, 06:10 AM | #84 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Jess and Angel, that must be so hard for you guys to endure, saying I know is one thing but experiencing it, another. I give you guys respect and credit beyond words can express, from bravery to dedication and surviving the nerve racking tasks. Happy you guys are OK and I do hope whoever gets into power makes a complete turnaround for the better in every respect. | | | 10-02-2008, 06:13 AM | #85 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | I respect all those that have gone and fought for this country. They supported Obama. They then asked why...and made comments regarding McCain's campain. They just agreed with what the 'interviewer' was saying. "Do you support Obama more because...he is pro life...or because he wants to keep troops in Iraq to win the war in the Middle East?" Response: "I agree with him that we should keep our troops there to win this war..." Lesson: There is ignorance in PEOPLE...conservative or democrat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PgV3_1_qlc __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 10-14-2008, 09:36 PM | #90 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Weymouth, MA Posts: 215 | __________________ '96 BMW 318ti Hellrod 5SPD - SOLD '04 BMW X3 2.5L Alpine White PRM PKG Automatic/Steptronic PRM PKG - SOLD '01 BMW M3 6SPD Imola Red Luxury PKG '11 BMW X5 xdrive35d - 3.0L Twin-Turbo Diesel - The Ultimate Oil Burner | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
