Pulled the entire leather Sandgrau interior, a few odds and ends and will be going back Sunday for a few more parts. I would have pulled more parts, but it was pouring rain at the time. No rips or major scuffs in the seats or panels at all. All front and rear panel clips intact. I'll either find another ti to drop it all into or offer up as a package if someone wants to replace their entire interior. I can pull the dash and carpets for a complete swap. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Also changed the belt tensioner and finally got rid of that god awful clatter. CA to PA is going to be pricey. Lets see, my car got a free wash today thanks to mother nature, and I had to push the wipers back down to the rest position (think the crank arm loosened up from the motor a bit). Will play with them again tomorrow night or Tuesday. Woo woo! Seems like there is a new pilot program for SMOG testing. Basically a visual check and a OBDII capture. What I should have asked if the test duration is still two years or annual now. Yesterday, I pulled the trailing arms and brakes from a 96 TI for my E30 5 lug conversion. Quite the job, still not totally complete. Also did a little engine bay clean-/dress-up on the valve cover and intake manifolds while everything was disassembled. Happy with the result. __________________ '96 318ti Base - few mods installed... | | | 04-29-2014, 01:50 AM | #98 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Omaha, NE Posts: 737 | Pulled the wiper linkage, re-tightened the crank arm to the motor, then reinstalled it. Got the process down to about 45 minutes. Hope I got the crank arm tightened enough that I don't have to do this again. Got them from great-bmw-deals on e-bay. Seller is Kenneth Woo in Hong Kong, I think. Material and fit are good. $8 for the pair. Noticeable appearance improvement. | | | 05-11-2014, 07:07 AM | #103 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Installed a 3.45 LSD and replaced a leaking Bilstien rear sport shock. I also found the large Black Widow that was creating all sorts of spider webs under the car. Not sure why the Black Widows like the cars. Thanks Danny for the LSD! __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Will have to search around to see if any place might have remaining stock, I believe the mounting kit is NLA. __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
